Making Progress

Lessons I learned about making progress in a world tirelessly pushing toward regression.

The Problem?

The world is crazy saturated with information. With sure-to-succeed tools aimed to help people escape the grip of consumerism, procrastination, and unhappiness. Yet, despite the influx of resources, a lot of us remain stuck.

Why?

Because knowledge alone is not enough to start and keep making progress. There are other motivations, other drivers, and environment factors we need to be aware of, and potentially redesign, to move forward.

Six Weeks. Get Moving.

I want to share why, despite our best intentions, despite our access to resources, we remain stuck. Why we don’t move and we don’t progress.

It’s not simple. There is no magic formula, no quick steps. This isn’t about hacks or motivational miracles.

All of it requires work. Not only get-up-and-get-your-ass-moving type of work. But something much more important: how you manage the friction between your long-term goals and how you feel now.

What can we do better?

Well, in six weeks, I’ll share what I’ve learned about making progress.

My aim is to help you figure out what are you struggling with, what are the key obstacles preventing you from moving forward, and how you can redesign your surroundings to help you, not hurt you.

Making Progress Overview

Making Progress is a six-week email series. Each week, you’ll get one email with a short lesson and reflection questions to help you put the ideas into practice.

Here’s why you might be interested:

  1. Start the Change you’ve Been Putting off
No more waiting for the perfect system or the right time. I’ll explain why we commonly get stuck in preparation mode and how to start taking small, practical steps that actually stick.
  2. Weekly Space to Reflect
Each email isn’t just something to read – it’s something to think about. I’ll ask you questions that nudge you to pause, look at your own behaviors, and see where change really needs to happen.
  3. Build Lasting Change
Willpower fades. That’s why you’ll learn how to reshape your habits and your environment, so the choices you want to make become the easiest ones.

A word from me…

We are spoiled of choice when it comes to self-improvement. Yet, how many of us are actually progressing towards our goals?

Based on the emails I regularly receive, not that many.

I’m perfectly aware of the feeling of being stuck despite the avalanche of resources. I’ve read books. Published articles and courses about habits and self-discipline. Despite all of this knowledge, I often can’t seem to follow through my plans.

This six-week email series emerged exactly due to my inability to perform my self-prescribed agenda.

However, don’t expect magic formulas and overnight success.

I am not suggesting that my experience comes with some mythical enlightenment that will instantly boost your productivity. I just want to share my experience, my insights, and perspective on how to begin making progress toward your goal of interest.
